On March 26th my club team, 15-Sherri, traveled to California to play in the March Challenge hosted by the PVL. We played in the tournament Friday and Saturday. On Sunday we scrimmaged TStreet 15's at their facility and then traveled to the Mizuno Long Beach facility to scrimmage the Mizuno Long Beach 15's. It was great for us to be able to compete again. It was a great volleyball weekend.
The tournament started on Friday afternoon. We started off slow, but got stronger as we progressed through the weekend. On Saturday, we lost to Coast 15-1 in the finals, finishing in 2nd place. The following are the results from the tournament:
Pool Play
W 26-24, 25-20 (beat Wave 15-Jaye)
W 25-21, 25-19 (beat SCVC 15-Roxy)
L 19-25, 22-25 (lost to Coast 15-1)

Over the weekend, we ran a 6-2. I set from the back row and hit/passed when I was in the front row. I hit a 38% during the tournament with 10 aces, 12 blocks, and 34 digs. My club team does not track assist. During the scrimmages against TStreet and Mizuno Long Beach I hit 41% with 3 blocks and 15 digs.
